Our Latest News
8th May 2012 - Every Suspect has Right to Free Legal Advice
The Home Office have recently confirmed that any suspect who is interviewed by the police has a right to free legal advice. Importantly, this right exists for anyone who is interviewed by a police officer, whether this interview takes place at the police station or not. Even people who have not been arrested have this right. For example, police often interview people about a criminal offence at their home address. These people also have a right to have a solicitor present for this important part of the investigation, free of charge. For more information about this, please contact our Criminal Department on 01225 401200, or visit the Criminal Department webpage.
Important changes to Liquor and Entertainment Licensing take place after 25th April 2012. Read HERE for further details.
